Chili Tasting from 1pm – 3pm

This cookoff is in conjunction with our annual Airstreams on the Square event. We will have 40+ Airstream campers lining the streets of Downtown all week for the greatest urban camping experience ever! We’ll have a street dance with costume contest (PIRATE THEME) and live band on Friday night, so come early to get your seat! We will be playing the movie “HOOK” Saturday night on the downtown street. Bring a chair and join us. Cash bar will be available.

COOK DETAILS
• 12x12 space provided
• Cooks must bring their own canopy/tent, table & chairs and supplies
• Limited access to electricity
• NO VEHICLES in cooking/event area after load-in
• Parking area available for cooks
• No outside alcohol – adult beverages will be for sale on site.


SCHEDULE
7am-8am – load in
8am-8:15am – cooks meeting (location tbd)
9am-12 pm – Homestyle with noon judging
10:30am-1:30pm – Chili Verde with 1:30pm judging
12noon-3pm – Traditional Red with 3pm judging
1pm-3pm -People’s Choice Sampling


COMPETITION ENTRY
You must be an ICS Member to compete. Entry fees are separate per category (i.e. Red, Homestyle, Verde, etc.) and will be collected independently by the Cook-off Organizer. Please contact the organizer (info at top) for more information.

ALL CONTESTANTS must prepare TWO gallons of People’s Choice chili (PC).
