Join the fun at the largest Chili Festival in the Charlotte Metro area. Sample over 50 different chili recipes while enjoying live music, cornhole competition, craft beer, vintage cars, and food trucks. Be a spectator or contestant in our third annual "Hot Shots" hot sauce tasting competition.  Attendee parking and admission are FREE!

 

You must be an ICS Member to compete. Entry fees are separate per category (i.e., Red, Homestyle, Verde, etc.) and will be collected independently by the Cook-off Organizer. Please contact the organizer (Jessica) for more information.

• Cooks must bring their own canopy/tent, table & chairs, and supplies. (We have tents and gear to loan to cooks traveling by air – if interested, contact Jessica to make arrangements. )

• No electricity/running water provided

• Every cook team handing out chili will be automatically entered into our People’s Choice competition, and the winner will receive a banner & a cash prize  

Please note that there will be no electricity or running water available, so please plan accordingly. 

Set up once, cook twice at this 2-day event. Site secured Fri & Sat nights. Sunday's cook-off is a Cooks Only event, no PC. 

Whether you are ready to get an early start on your qualification journey for the 60th WCCC (details TBA) or are still looking to pick up a win to qualify for the 59th WCCC (Arizona, January 2027), the Carolinas Chili Championship has it covered.    That is right, catch an ICS win at either of our two events in Indian Land this October and pick between the next two World Championships that you want your qualifier to count. 

New this year, our back-to-back cook-offs will move one block south to the grounds of the CrossRidge Campus, 3000 World Reach Drive, Indian Land, SC… the same venue we have used for public parking.    In truth, it is an excellent venue for this event that is not only more secure, pedestrian and family friendly but also has an amphitheater.      We could not be more pleased getting the opportunity to upgrade our grounds with this move.

As in previous years, you can set up once and compete in both ICS cook-offs.     We will have on-site parking for the cook-teams both days and security Friday and Saturday nights. You can set up on Friday afternoon 4PM to 6:30PM or Saturday & Sunday morning from7AM to 8:30AM. 

On Saturday October 24th the CCC festival kicks-off with chili tasting, live entertainment, food trucks, craft beer & beverage vendors, vintage car show, a Cornhole competition, the CCC Hot Shots hot sauce tasting challenge, and more. Sunday October 25th will once again be a "cooks only" event with no public and no PC is needed.

Some say winning is everything. On Saturday, the first-place winners for each ICS category will win a $1,000 first place prize.  And everyone handing out chili will automatically be entered into our People’s Choice competition where the winner will also receive a $1,000 first place prize. Bragging rights, big money, and qualifiers for everyone - clearly a win-win-win!
